The ICH Council includes representatives of key government agencies, service providers, advocates, constituents, the private sector, and the Continuum of Care (CoC).  Representatives are listed for each category below.  Additionally, note that a Call for Nominations is underway for community seats that expire in 2023.

ICH Call for Nominations

We are excited to announce that the Nomination Submission Form for the ICH Full Council is live!

If you are interested in serving as a representative of service providers, advocates, constituents, or the private sector, you can self-nominate.  Complete the ICH Nomination Submission Form by October 20, 2023. 

Four (4) categories of voting members represent the community, and the following seats are vacant or expiring across the four categories:

  • 5 service provider seats to represent organizations providing services within the District’s Continuum of Care for homeless services;
  • 2 advocate seats to represent organizations that advocate for the District’s homeless population;
  • 2 lived experience (constituent representative) seats to represent homeless or formerly homeless individuals; and
  • 2 business/private sector seats to represent organizations that have resources or expertise to contribute to addressing homelessness in the District.

The ICH only accepts self-nominations, and the nomination period is open until October 20, 2023.
