The Singles Coordinated Assessment and Housing Placement (CAHP) Work Group supports the Strategic Planning Committee by implementing the initiative to end chronic homelessness in the District.

Coordinated Assessment and Housing Placement (CAHP or also known as Coordinated Entry) is the process for implementing a “no wrong door” approach by creating standardized access (including assessment, referral, and placement) to permanent housing resources.

The Singles CAHP Work Group is created for the purpose of providing oversight to the District’s CAHP System for Single Individuals.  Responsibilities including developing policies and procedures, evaluating implementation, identifying resource gaps, and recruiting new partners to participate in Coordinated Entry.
