The Singles Coordinated Assessment and Housing Placement (CAHP) Work Group by implementing the initiative to end chronic homelessness in the District. 

CAHP, and the shorthand Coordinated Entry, is the process for implementing a “no wrong door” approach by creating standardized access (including assessment, referral, and placement) to permanent housing resources. 

The Committee is created for the purpose of providing oversight for the District’s CAHP System for Single Individuals.  Responsibilities including developing policies and procedures, evaluating implementation, identifying resource gaps, and recruiting new partners to participate in Coordinated Entry.
