Given the guidance below, we are canceling the June Full Council meeting and replacing it with an ICH Executive Committee. This meeting will be on June 9th from 1:30 to 3pm and will be held via WebEx.

On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the Council of the District of Columbia passed the COVID-19 Response Emergency Amendment Act of 2020 , which provided authority to the Mayor to address the critical needs of District residents and businesses during the COVID-19 public health emergency. Title V of the Act addressed public bodies, including Advisory Neighborhood Commissions (ANC) and boards and commissions.

Section 502 of the act states “any requirement for a board or commission, or other public body to meet is waived, unless the Mayor determines that it is necessary or appropriate for the board, commission or other public body to meet during the period of the public health emergency, in which case the Mayor may order the board, commission or other public body to meet.”
