Committee on Design Guidelines for Emergency Housing for Families Experiencing Homelessness

On September 9, 2015, Mayor Bowser issued a Mayor's Order commissioning the ICH to develop a committee to provide recommendations on design principles for DC General Family Shelter replacement units.  The Committee is mandated to provide feedback on the design guidelines established by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Department of General Services (DGS) by October 16, 2015.

The Committee Meeting Schedule is set as follows:

  • September 30, 2015: 9 – 11 am, John A Wilson Building (1350 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Room 527)
  • October 7, 2015: 9 – 11 am, Children’s Law Center (616 H Street, NW)
  • October 14, 2015: 9 – 11 am, Children’s Law Center (616 H Street, NW)
